CCTV & MDVR PRIVACY NOTICE

Notice for Drivers and Occupants

1. Why is this vehicle equipped with MDVR?

This vehicle is equipped with a Mobile Digital Video Recording (MDVR) system provided by Traknova. We use this system for the following Legitimate Interests:

• Safety: To monitor and improve driver safety and performance.

• Security: To protect the vehicle, its cargo, and its occupants from theft or violence.

• Evidence: To provide accurate data for the investigation of road traffic incidents and insurance claims.

2. What data are we collecting?

• Video Footage: External road-facing views and internal cabin/cargo views.

• Audio: Audio recording is OFF by default.

• Telemetry: GPS location, vehicle speed, and G-force (impact) data.

3. How long do we keep your data?

• Standard Loop: Video footage is automatically overwritten every 30 days.

• Incident Data: Footage related to an accident, theft, or safety violation may be retained for up to 3 years or until the conclusion of legal proceedings.

4. Who can see the footage?

Access is strictly controlled. It may be shared with:

• Authorised Fleet Managers.

• Insurance providers and legal counsel.

• Law enforcement agencies (when legally required).

5. Your Rights (UK GDPR)

You have the right to request access to the footage we hold of you (Subject Access Request). You also have the right to object to processing or request the deletion of data if it is no longer necessary.
